What Does it Matter?
The f’ing Bill is passed. Why is anyone spending time contemplating “will he deport him?” or “won’t he?”. My social media was filled with screenshots of the feud between Musk and Trump. Meanwhile, the fate of American citizens, migrants, families and children was sealed by the Senate Republicans today. Millions of Americans will lose their healthcare. Children will go hungry. Hundreds of thousands of people have died as a result of USAID (it’s now predicted that 14 Million people will die as a result of shutting down USAID) in other countries. The same is about to happen here. Let’s stop wondering what that looks like and do something about it!!!! For the people who are active everyday, keep it up. For those still sitting on the sidelines? Get out there!
Did you see the press conference today???????? American government officials and leaders are making jokes about “violent criminals” running from alligators if they try and escape. And the images? They built state of the art cages! They are cheering the deaths of migrants and anyone else (maybe Americans) snatched by their masked men. And, the bill that passed today will fund more of these concentration camps. That is what they are. Trump teased pleasure at calling them that. They have no remorse about who's taken, how they are treated and if they die.
Whether Musk and Trump are at war should absolutely be non-news. Because, like the last time it was performative. It was a distraction. But, let’s say it’s not. I don’t give a sh*t about Musk. Do you? I care about actual Americans, women and children and those in our country living on EARTH 1. Today is one of the worst days in my life as an American citizen. One half of the Senate representatives voted to crush break America, including our national parks, wildlife and natural world. All you need to do is look at the defacing of the White House property. It’s now surrounded by flags, concrete and fences. A psychopath did that. Makes sense.
So, there is so much that we must do no matter where this leads us. The one thing we can’t do is stop or give up. Call, write and protest. Like Jeff Tiedrich, I’m feeling a kind of way this afternoon.
I think it’s perhaps something discussed in The Selfish Gene, and a narrow view of survivalism. It’s certainly not governing, and it’s mostly corruption. I have known people who ONLY seem to care about how much money they can acquire. It’s lack of enlightenment, because they want Chiefdoms, a step below a nation-state. (Based on my reading of Guns, Germs and Steel) It’s shared psychosis. It’s mental illness writ large. It’s tyranny.
It is a spiritual war!!! Do not let them take our minds!! Keep in the fight with our eyes wide open. Jennifer Dhillon and Susan and all you at Mental Fitness Matters we are doing the work and fighting back!!! Im soul is on fire and I'm bodily sick! The cruelty and deaths are beyond comprehension Jennifer. Most of these types are truly in criminal insane assylums...the fact that 2.0 rose to Prez power. Is he the Antichrist? Matthew Fox Theologian in Oakland, CA wrote a book. And they burned women who brewed herbs calling them witches, indengenious killed for believing in nature spirits...and yet this evil doer is supported and allowed to spew hate and kill and torture on mother earth and humanity! Just not words!!!
